Tagbilaran City is the capital of the island-province of Bohol, the 10th largest island in the Philippines and is located almost centrally in the Philippine archipelago. The island province is about 1000 km southeast of Manila and about 75 km south of Mactan Island of Cebu Province. Bohol is bounded by the islands of Cebu in the northwest and Leyte in the northeast.
